A 21-year-old Mullingar man who told gardai in reply to a caution that they had little to be doing, was remanded on continuing bail to the local court on November 20 next.

“Were you ever in prison? Would you like to go?” Judge John Neilan asked Enda Devanney of Rathconnell, Mullingar when he heard his response to gardaí when charged with public order offences.

A 21-year-old Mullingar man has been banned from all licensed premises in this district.
