The Portumna hurlers collected the Tommy Moore Cup on the steps of the Hogan Stand for a stunning fourth time in nine years on Monday after seeing off Mount Leinster Rangers by 0-19 to 0-11.

Next Monday, St Patrick's Day 2014, the hurling supporters and families of Portumna head to Dublin hoping their club can win their fourth All-Ireland senior club title in the past nine years.

The Galway hurlers get their 2014 league campaign up and running on Sunday when they face Dublin in Pearse Stadium (2pm).

The Galway GAA Annual County Convention will be held tonight, (Thursday), in the Claregalway Hotel, starting at 7.30pm.
