The life of a Co Galway university graduate will be transformed within the next few months when she receives Bebionic prosthetic arms.

The Dail Bar in the heart of the Latin Quarter is showing its support for some of the best of the west. Not only is it continuing its sponsorship and support of Connacht Rugby with the sponsorship of Brett Wilkinson for the third year in a row, they are also flying the flag for Galway hurling as a business sponsor in a bid to show support to our home grown talent, urging the city to show our support for the fantastic talent we have in Galway and Connacht.

The Dail Bar is getting behind former Miss Ireland Maire Hughes as she enters the prestigious Miss Universe Ireland competition this November 2 in Dublin. Ms Hughes of Catwalk Models will be representing The Dail Bar and Galway in the Miss Universe Ireland competition run by well-known Irish agent and top model Andrea Roche.

The Off the Ball sports show will broadcast live in front of a packed audience this Thursday in Galway’s Dail Bar, Middle Street.

On the night of November 23 The Dáil Bar will provide just the occasion for them to find glamorous frocks for the winter party season with Dress Me Up, a sale of new or nearly new party dresses, which will take place at 8pm. All proceeds from the sale will go to COPE Galway. Entry to the event is free with drinks from West Coast Cooler and canapés being served while buyers feast their eyes on the dresses, which will be priced from €10 to €50.
