Liam Lawton teams up with Castlebar Gospel Choir for Cystic Fibrosis Association

Liam Lawton, in association with Castlebar Gospel choir, is to hold a special concert in Belcarra on May 10 for a night of song. All proceeds from the night will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland. Liam has a large following in Ireland and overseas, mainly in the US and is in many ways one of Ireland best kept secrets, as many of his achievements have passed almost unnoticed.

Tour de Force to arrive in Westport next week

Tour de Force is a group of approximately 50 members of An Garda Síochána based in Dublin, and their friends and family, who take part in an annual sponsored cycle in aid of various local, national, and international charities. This year, the gardaí and their friends will cycle between Dublin and Westport and all the funds raised will go to the Mayo branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Association. In particular, the money raised this year will go towards the development of the special CF Unit at Mayo General Hospital.
