The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland has launched a special St Patrick’s Challenge in association with students in GMIT.
The challenge was launched with a special climb up Croagh Patrick this morning and the aim is to get as many people as possible to do a sponsored walk, jog, run, or even crawl up Croagh Patrick over the next 12 months.
The funds raised from the challenge will go directly towards the new Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Mayo General Hospital.
Individuals or groups interested in taking part in the challenge can get sponsorship cards and information packs, with tips on routes, equipment, and clothing required for the challenge by logging on to www.cfwest.ie
