For the entire month of October, Curves, the women only fitness clubs, and the Irish Cancer Society are once again asking women all over Ireland to donate their old bras in order to raise much needed funds for the charity. And you do not have to be a member of Curves to get involved – all you have to do is gather together your (and even your friends’) unwanted bras and drop them off at your local Curves.

Curves members donate more than 8,000 bras for charity

Last October Curves women’s only fitness franchise, asked women nationwide to donate their old bras to the 60 plus fitness centres throughout Ireland in a bid to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. This hugely successful campaign resulted in the collection of a staggering 8,145 bras, weighing an impressive 479 kilos.

Get in shape for summer

Curves, the woman-only gym franchise is launching its Get in Shape for Summer challenge. Available to both members and non-members of Curves across Ireland, the Curves Weight Management Programme is a system where women can attend six weeks of small, intimate classes run by trained Curves personnel.
