Last October Curves women’s only fitness franchise, asked women nationwide to donate their old bras to the 60 plus fitness centres throughout Ireland in a bid to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. This hugely successful campaign resulted in the collection of a staggering 8,145 bras, weighing an impressive 479 kilos.
Gill Brady, spokesperson for Curves said, “With the outstanding support from Curves members, we are very excited to be handing over a cheque for €526.90 to the Irish Cancer Society.”
