Following our communication on Friday regarding Storm Bert, we provide the following update on its impact across County Galway:

Clifden RNLI joined a multi-agency response in Clifden earlier this week when a man fell into the water at Clifden Quay.

Fine Gael TD for Galway West and Mayo South Seán Kyne has welcomed confirmation that from this month the fire fighters from the new South Connemara fire station will be accompanying colleagues from Clifden and the City on call-outs as part of their final phase of training.
