Show Me The Funny, Ireland's largest and longest-running comedy competition, returns to the Kings Head Bar, High Street, on Monday, January 29, in association with Bulmers Cider.

Galway Comedy Festival announced ambitions to become a world-leading laughathon when launching its full 2023 programme this week.

The fifth and final exciting heat of Show Me The Funny will take place next Monday February 20 in The King's Head, and will see two new comedians battle it out for the top spot. "It's been tough but enjoyable for both the judges and sell out audiences these last few Monday nights, but we are now about to find out the full line up for the final," says Host and MC, Gerry Mallon. The winner of the final will earn a spot performing in the Electric Picnic comedy tent.
