Brendan Medlar has volunteered to be a driver on the Communications Workers Union convoy to the camp, a 4,000 mile round trip. Mr Medlar who will be driving an An Post truck will meet with the projects partners from Eircom and will travel to the UK, where they will join a further 10 to 12 trucks for the trek across Europe to the camp.
