AN CRIÚ Collective - the artists group which works with large arts and theatre organisations in Galway - will open their first outdoor exhibition on Inis Oírr, this Saturday, July 17, at 3.30pm.

“SHE’S SOME woman for one woman” is a phrase that can very easily be applied to Macnas artistic director Noeline Kavanagh, who also embodies that old adage, “The show must go on.”

MACNAS IS best known, and hugely acclaimed, for its street parades, but there will be a chance to see a different side to its creative artists, in an exhibition on the Aran Islands.

In Sight is an exhibition of cross-disciplinary art work at Charlestown Arts Centre by artists associated with renowned Galway-based performance company, Macnas. The exhibition opens on Sunday, December 3 and runs until Friday, December 22.

GALWAY SKA and reggae band Big Jelly will headline a charity concert night, the Haiti Music Project Fundraiser, which will also feature an array of Galway musical talent.
