60 jobs for Loughrea as new Plaza Group service station opens
A new Plaza Group service station in Loughrea has opened its doors with the creation of over 60 jobs locally. The Loughrea Service Station consists of Supermac’s, a Supermac’s Drive Thru, Papa John’s, Mac’s Place Deli, Moo Parlour and a Bewley’s Barista.

Supermac’s Group continues to expand with opening of Portlaoise Plaza
120 new jobs will be created when the Portlaoise Plaza opens on Junction 17 on the M7 tomorrow Friday, July 31. The jobs were announced at the site this week by the Minister for State at the Department of Finance, Seán Fleming. The Portlaoise Plaza is part of the Supermac’s Group and will be the largest Plaza in the country, and brings the amount of people employed by the group throughout the country to over 4,000. The group consist of Supermac’s, Só Hotels and The Plaza Group.

The show which returned to RTÉ Radio 1 on Sunday June 11 will air 6-7pm each Sunday.The Marty Squad, presented by Marty Morrissey and Brenda O’ Donoghue, takes a look at the weekend’s GAA action with guests and analysis. The show will travel across the country with outside broadcasts planned throughout the summer.
