Players from 14 Ulster Bank League clubs have been selected on the Ireland squad, which is coached by Morgan Lennon and Johne Murphy. All the top clubs are represented and spectators can look forward to seeing Clontarf’s classy centre, Matt Darcy, Garryowen’s influential scrum-half, Neil Cronin, St Mary’s College captain, Ciaran Ruddock, Terenure College lock, Alex Thompson, and Kolo Kiripati’s buddy, Paulie Tolofua, in action. For the first time, clubs from Division 2A have players in the squad.

An entertaining and competitive joust is in prospect and, hopefully, sports fans from the greater midlands region will flock to Dubarry Park in their droves.
