Jason Finnane has received special honours in the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI ) 2009 Awards of Excellence 16x20 print competition. Designed to recognise outstanding photographers, the judging was held in Las Vegas in February.
“An Old Kiss” received an accolade of excellence in the bride and groom together category. “Modern Lullaby” received an accolade of excellence in the children category. “Do you Speak French” received an accolade of excellence in the high school senior category. “Still Water” and “Siren Part 2” each received an accolade of excellence in the individual category. And Sin Hotel received an accolade of excellence in the glamour category.
Jason competed against an international field of photographers to win such honours.
The awards of excellence 16x20 print competition awards are presented each year at the largest trade show, educational platform, and convention in the United States for professional photographers. The 2009 competition included 2,717 prints in 19 different categories submitted by photographers from all over the world.
