A public consultation day will be held in Athlone Civic Centre from 2pm to 7.30pm on Thursday, May 26, in relation to preliminary Shannon catchment-wide options to manage flood risk including summer flooding in the Shannon Callows.
Jacobs Engineering Ireland, who are conducting the Shannon CFRAM Study on behalf of the Office of Public Works and with the support of local county councils, are developing preliminary flood risk management options for Shannon catchment. Members of the Jacobs Engineering Ireland Shannon CFRAM Study project team will be available to discuss and explain the options to all attending on the day.
