Cllr Mick Dollard wants more artistic features in the town of Mullingar.
“We have a lovely plaza effect, it would be an ideal location for a nice artistic feature, a focal point.”
He pointed out that there are a number of features with Joe, the pilgrims, and one in Dominick Place. However “we need a few more artistic features”.
“Since Joe there are more and more people visiting Mullingar. We want to make it a town people want to come back to.”
He said the Arts Officer would have to be consulted.
