The fifth Muck It! challenge at Ballinlough Castle, Co Westmeath will take place on Sunday March 29.
One of the country’s muckiest physical endurance challenge will be held in a privately owned hidden gem in the north of the county. Its stunning grounds and woodlands make it the ideal location for Ireland’s muckiest 5 and 10k challenge.
The course of man-made and natural obstacles includes ditches, ropes, slides, pits, canals, lakes, forests, tyres, and lots of muck, and will take you through the castle’s stunning private grounds.
Muck It! is a fun event for everyone from newly fledged 5k joggers to the mega-competitive 10k racer looking for something different. This year there’s also an option for walkers. Participants can register to complete one lap (5k ) or two laps (10k ) and aim for the best time on the day. All participants get a free Muck It! t-shirt to wear with pride.
Participants can run as individuals or in a team of four.
