Staff across the six branches of Bank of Ireland in Westmeath - Athlone town, Athlone IT, Castlepollard, Kinnegad, Moate, and Mullingar are partnering with the local St Vincent de Paul this Christmas as part of the bank’s nationwide Give Together campaign.
Give Together is Bank of Ireland’s charity and community initiative including nationwide fundraising and volunteering effort to support St Vincent de Paul. As part of the partnership, Bank of Ireland staff have committed to provide hundreds of hampers, hospital packs, hostel bags, and wish-list presents to help SVP meet the need they face in communities across Ireland. The bank is also encouraging staff to use their Give Together volunteering day to volunteer with SVP locally to help support their work. All funds raised and items donated by the Westmeath staff will be distributed locally by St Vincent de Paul.
In 2014, Bank of Ireland staff in Westmeath raised €22,000 for charity as part of Give Together.
