Volunteers needed across the county

Manager of the Westmeath Volunteer Centre, Ian O’Flynn, has put out a call for volunteers.

Mr O’Flynn has said that the centre currently has a whole host of volunteering opportunities on the I-VOL database that people in the county might be interested in. He is encouraging anyone who might have the time to make a difference in the world to log on to their website to find out more.

Volunteers are currently needed for a collection for the ebola crisis. The Westmeath branch of Goal Ireland is looking for volunteers in Mullingar to help with a collection to help those effected by the ebola crisis in west Africa. The collection will take place on Saturday August 23 in Harbour Place.
