Minister for Health, Jame Reilly will be in Athlone this morning to officially open the refurbished Loughloe House Day Resource Centre.
Located at Abbey Road the newly refurbished Loughloe House and campus has received a €1.125m transformation. Now within the one campus is a range of day servicesprovide for 40 service users with mental health difficulties, rehabilitative disability physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities, and also older person day services.
The programmes are individualised and focused on developing social, recreational, and craft skills, education, and medication management and aim to support the clients in community-based employment and training.
The Rehab group as part of a service arrangement with the HSE is delivering the disability day services.
