Easter weekend is fast approaching and it is with great delight that The Prince can say spring has finally sprung! Hopefully this beautiful weather will last and brighten Easter, but if not The Prince, Athlone has plenty going on.
On Good Friday, the bar is open as normal serving food only. It is open for breakfast from 8-11.30am, carvery from 12-3pm, sandwich bar from 9am-4.30pm, and bar food from 4.30-9.30pm.
On Saturday April 19 they have live music from The Lollygaggers with late bar until 2am while The Escapades play on Easter Sunday night with another late bar until 2am.
Ladies get your glad rags on and guys wear your Sunday best as this Sunday night they have a huge prize giveaway for Athlone’s best dressed! With the Fairyhouse Festival in full swing and the eve of the Irish Grand National, they have decided to give away two tickets, plus accommodation for two in Galway city centre, for the Galway Races on Saturday night!
There will be live coverage of the Grand National and other sporting action over the weekend in The Prince Bar.
