Five Westmeath students have won top prizes in this year’s 60th Texaco Children’s Art Competition.
All winners of Special Merit Awards, they are Orla Kelly (14 ) from Our Lady’s Bower, Athlone; Caoilinn Behan (12 ) from St Colman’s National School, Mullingar; John Ashe (13 ) from Marist College, Athlone; Gabija Vilkelyte (13 ) from St Finian’s College, Mullingar; and Emily Rose McHugh (8 ), from Loughegar National School, Mullingar.
Prizes will be presented at a ceremony to take place in Dublin on May 27, at which all 127 top prize-winners will be in attendance.
