Athlone Community Radio 88.4fm have partnered with the Athlone Mental Health Association for Radio Rocks, a night of great entertainment by local musicians.
Radio Rocks will take place tonight, April 4, at Biddy’s Bar, Irishtown, with a great line up including local artists Danny Thompson, Patrick McEvilly, Brian Goggin, Benny Coyle, Cathal McCormack, Buckeye, and Black Dice.
Athlone Community Radio 88.4fm is a non-profit community project, broadcasting to Athlone and surrounding areas. They give a voice to the minority; all community and voluntary organisations; and cover all local issues pertaining to Athlone. They also provide training and work experience to volunteers, transition year students, and those participating in further education.
The Athlone Mental Health Association is a voluntary organisation whose aim is to promote positive mental health and to actively support persons with mental illness, their families, and carers by identifying their needs and advocating their rights.
