As part of the Mullingar St Patrick’s Day celebrations, Mullingar Chamber are holding a fantastic ‘Green’ competition for the town.
The chamber is asking all retailers and businesses to get in the spirit of things by dressing their windows for St Patrick’s Day and the best St Patrick’s Day windows will win prizes.
“Get ready to fill your shopfronts with shamrocks and leprechauns and all things Irish for the Mullingar Chamber of Commerce St Patrick’s Day window competition - let’s get the town ‘Green for 2014’,” said Pat Whelan, chamber president.
The chamber also has a great night of entertainment planned at Mullingar Greyhound Stadium with a Night at the Dogs on March 15.
“It’s the perfect way to start your St Patrick’s weekend. Mullingar Greyhound Stadium is a brilliant venue and it is always a great night out,” said Pat.
