The RSA’s ‘Check it Fits’ service aims to save lives by ensuring that child seats are properly fitted in cars.
The ‘Check it Fits’ team will be visiting Mullingar on Tuesday March 11 from 10am-5.30pm at Aldi, Green Road, Mullingar.
The service is there to help parents and guardians to correctly fit their child car seats. Trained experts who are familiar with almost every child car seat on the market can check your car seat and restraints, and answer any questions you may have. The service is fast, convenient, and free of charge.
At present, three out of four child car seats are incorrectly fitted in cars, and an incorrectly fitted child car seat could lead to serious injury or death in the event of a collision.
