Brosna Art Group’s seventh annual art exhibition takes place during this coming St Patrick’s Bank Holiday weekend in the Annebrook House Hotel.
The group consists of local artists who have been painting together for the past 11 years - in various mediums and media - and this wide range of diversity and variety can be seen through their yearly exhibition.
This year’s exhibition will formally be opened on Saturday March 15 at 8pm by Miriam Mulrennan, Westmeath arts officer, and Brosna Art Group extends a warm invitation to all to attend, entry is free throughout the weekend.
The exhibition runs from Saturday March 15 from 11am-5.30pm, Sunday March 16 from 11am-7pm, and Monday March 17 from 11am-5pm. Why not call into the Annebrook during the weekend and view the wide range of paintings on display, many depicting well-known local scenes through to still life, painted in oils, acrylics, and watercolours?
The Brosna Art Group extends thanks to the Annebrook House Hotel for its valued assistance in helping to stage the exhibition.
A raffle will be held throughout the St Patrick’s weekend and all proceeds will be donated to North Westmeath Hospice.
If you have some spare time during the weekend’s festivities drop into the Annebrook House Hotel, in the Barlow Room for a feast for the eyes; the Brosna Art Group would be delighted to see you there.
