The ISPCC are inviting secondary schools across Westmeath to take part in their Shield Youth Award.
Transition Year students will take part in an Apprentice Style competition with the overall top three schools in the country invited to present their project in a boardroom at the heart of Dublin’s financial district to Celebrity Apprentice judge Caroline Downey and two other celebrity judges.
The project brief is to plan and execute a fundraising event, product, or campaign to support both the students’ school and the ISPCC Shield Anti-Bullying Campaign. Students will be marked on their creativity, marketing, and innovation skills.
The winning team will be expected to effectively communicate the anti-bullying message and raise awareness of the devastating effect of bullying on children.
The winners will receive a specially commissioned crystal Shield Award for their school and will be featured in national print, TV, and social media coverage.
The closing date for registration is Monday March 3 at 5pm.
The ISPCC is calling on schools to get involved in this exciting opportunity today! Registration forms are available from [email protected] or by calling Rita on (01 ) 6767960
