Mullingar Autos has announced the inclusion of the Skoda brand at their Dublin Bridge showrooms with the creation of 10 new jobs.
There will also be a number of construction jobs as building of the new Skoda showroom begins.
Speaking at the announcement of Skoda’s sponsorship of the St Patrick’s weekend Mullingar Chamber social event at the Greyhound stadium, Jim Bourke, MD of Mullingar Autos said that he was delighted to include the new Skoda franchise at the garage.
“This new franchise will see us create 10 new jobs at the Dublin Bridge showroom. Not to mention the construction jobs that are being created in order for us to build the new Skoda showroom.”
According to Mr Bourke, Skoda is a perfect fit for the dealership which already owns the VW franchise
“They’re a natural mix. We’ve been in business for over 40 years, had the VW franchise for over 30 years, and now we’re expanding with Skoda,” he added.
There are current 20 people employed at Mullingar Autos
