Thirty members of the Travelling community appeared in court in Mullingar, all of whom had been summonsed in relation to an incident at Grange Lawns in May of this year.
The majority of the summonses are related to public order. Priscilla Nevin of 23 Grange Lawns appeared in court in relation to two assaults, one on Emma Donoghue and one on Mary Brigid Donoghue.
It is alleged that Anthony Dinnegan of Macetown, Cloughan, Mullingar assaulted Brian Ward during the incident and caused criminal damage to the window of a house owned by Teresa Nevin at 23 Grange Lawns.
Damien Groome of 1 Grange Heights, Oliver Dinnegan of Mill House, Canal Avenue, and Thomas Dinnegan of 143 Ashe Road were also summonsed in relation to the same criminal damage incident, while Patrick Nevin of 23 Grange Lawns is alleged to have caused criminal damage to the driver’s window of a vehicle owned by Paddy Dinnegan.
All will appear in court again on February 19.
