A bench warrant has been issued for a Kinnegad man who is due in court to answer drink-driving charges.
Lawrence Caulfield of Caulfields, Hardwood, Dublin Road, Kinnegad is working in Dubai, solicitor Robert Marren told the court.
He said he had been informed by Mr Caulfield’s mother that his client had changed his job in Dubai and was currently working his probation. For that reason she could not tell when he would be home.
A bench warrant was also issued for 23-year-old Sharon McCarthy, 16 Grange Park, who did not turn up to answer public order charges.
The court confirmed that Ms McCarthy’s case was related to a dispute with a neighbour. She is charged with intoxication and threatening, abusive behaviour at Grange Park on November 21 of this year.
