Women stole accordion

Two women involved in the alleged  theft of an accordion have failed to appear at Mullingar District Court.

A bench warrant was issued for Elizabeth O’Neill, 116 Meadowbrook, Athlone who is charged with stealing an accordion worth €350 from Rochfort’s shop, Dominick Street, Mullingar on July 18 this year.

Patricia Quinn of 4 Moy Close, Ballymahon was remanded until April 2 when her solicitor told the court on Thursday that she had a baby due on Friday.

She is charged with stealing a Stephaneli accordion worth €500 from the same shop on the same date, the property of Thomas Nally.
