Starting next Saturday December 27, Haydens Hotel, Ballinasloe will be hosting a live country music night every weekend.
Top Irish bands will take to the stage every Saturday night in the newly refurbished ballroom at Haydens Hotel.
The entertainment kicks off next Saturday December 27 with singer Eamonn McCann, voted ‘Ireland’s number one country singer 2008’ at this year’s Irish Entertainment Awards.
On Saturday January 3, the spotlight will be on Keith McDonald and the Showband Show, while on January 10 Joanna & Tequila Sunrise will ensure dancing continues into the wee small hours.
The country music night is being promoted by Desi Egan, known for his organisation of the annual Irish Entertainment Awards in Athlone, who saw the need for a new live music venue in the Midlands. Desi is hoping Haydens, now open under new family management, will become established as the major venue in the Midlands and West for dance goers and over 30s.
The live country music nights take place every Saturday, beginning December 27, from 9.30pm to 1am. A DJ will also be on hand to entertain with the best of country hits.
