A charity fashion show is to be held in Athlone this week in aid of a Westmeath cancer hospice.
Kadee Boutique on Pearse Street will host a Christmas-themed fashion show in their spacious boutique on Thursday, November 29 to raise funds for LARCC, the Lakelands area retreat and cancer centre in Multyfarnham.
Kadee boutique will offer mulled wine and Christmas melodies from 7pm, with the fashion show promenading from 7.30pm.
After this guests can shop the show with a 30 per cent discount off all stock on the night.
The LARCC centre gives support and holistic help to people living with cancer by providing a supportive environment where patients and family members can participate in courses, obtain information, and experience complementary therapies.
The LARCC centre opened in November 2002 in Ballinalack, moving to its new, €2m location in the Friary in Multyfarnham a year and a half ago.
On Thursday night Kadee will showcase a selection of outfits suitable for any winter wardrobe, including the all-important LBD.
“Every woman should have at least one well-cut little black dress in her wardrobe, it’s a must and extremely serviceable,” says Deirdre Kelly of Kadee.
Guests will each get a gift bag to take away and will also be in with a chance to win exclusive hotel breaks.
Tickets are available at Kadee for €10, all of which goes to LARCC. Further details can be got from Kadee at (090 ) 64 98355 or on www.kadee.ie
