An emerging singing talent from Limerick, Amie Stone, has joined the line-up for a charity concert to take place in Athlone this Sunday September 30.
Final preparations are under way for the show, entitled Spectacular Spectacular, a dancing and singing extravaganza featuring young local talent and organised by six teenagers from Athlone Community College. The concert will raise funds for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
The production will be followed by a two-hour slot from one of the finest new female singers in the country, Amie Stone, who has teamed up with local music producer Desi Egan for her first appearance in Athlone.
Her new track ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ has been proving a big hit on YouTube, and she has also been attracting attention in Las Vegas, where she has been asked to perform for a month along with Desi.
Tickets are available from the Athlone Springs Hotel, Golden Discs, The Sound Factory, and Savoury Fare Monksland, Athlone.
