Hibernian Antique Fairs and Robin O’Donnell are very proud to announce their second Athlone Antique & Art Fair in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel this Sunday August 26.
Hibernian Antique & Art Fairs started running Ireland’s provincial Antique & Art Fairs 22 years ago. Over the years they have consistently grown, due to the support they receive from antique and art collectors all over Ireland. Thousands of items have been bought and sold, from jewellery and furniture, silver, china and porcelain, to coins and banknotes, books, art, and clocks. Hibernian Antique Fairs have held many fairs in Tullamore but on Sunday will host the most incredible fair in Athlone.
Picture this: the hotel ballroom full in every nook and cranny with the incredible spectacle of antiques and art from the four corners of Ireland; in excess of 100,000 items all priced for sale by the 30-plus dealers exhibiting.
Prices start from a couple of euro, with many of the items priced under €100. Of course if you want to spend more you can, as there is such a massive selection of items. Prices have never been more competitive; never has there been a better time to buy antiques and art, whether for pleasure or for investment.
An antique and art fair is not an auction but 20 times the size and selection of any auction. It is a gathering of 30-plus antique and art galleries from all over Ireland, gathered together for one day this Sunday. All items are priced and ready for sale, and all are completely negotiable. All dealers are there to sell, and pride themselves on their expertise, quality, and price. Items for sale include furniture art, jewellery, clocks, gramophones, books, coins and banknotes, glass, silver, gold, platinum, diamonds, paintings, prints, china and porcelain, stamps, lighting, vintage handbags and clothes, Chinese items, Japanese items - everything from a pin to an anchor.
