Promoting Belvedere as Gaeilge

TG4 presenter Lorretta Ní Ghabháin visited Belvedere House, Gardens and Park last week to highlight upcoming events.

She interviewed Rhona Rogers, administrator at Áras an Mhuilinn, the Midlands Regional Comhaltas Centre, based at Mount Street, Mullingar.

“2012 has been dedicated asBliain na Gaeilge by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann and this was a great opportunity to highlight fantastic events taking place locally using the Irish language,” said Rhona. Belvedere Family Carnival will continue today and over this weekend including bank holiday Monday. This is a great family day out and entry to the carnival includes entry to Belvedere Estate and there is free parking.

Erth’s Dinosaur Petting Zoo will visit on Tuesday June 5 and Wednesday June 6.

There will be three shows per day - two for schools and one in the evening open to the public. These educational and interactive puppet shows with life-size dinosaurs are sure to be a big hit with the young and the young at heart!
