Seventh annual Irish Entertainment Awards this weekend

The seventh annual Irish Entertainment Awards take place at the Tullamore Court Hotel on

Monday next April 2.

This fantastic night of the best in Irish entertainment has been staged at various Irish locations over the past six years. Last year’s awards concert was staged at the Helix Theatre Dublin to a sell-out audience.

Previous winners at the Irish Entertainment Awards include Brendan Bowyer, Dickie Rock, Roger Whittaker, Foster and Allen, and Daniel O’Donnell.

For this year’s event, artists receiving awards and performing on the night include Robert Mizzell, Nathan Carter, Foster and Allen, Derrick Ryan, Crystal Swing, Liam O’Connor, Paddy Cole, Richie Kavanagh, and many more.

The Irish Entertainment Awards 10-piece big band with renowned musical director Desi Egan will provide backing for all the artists in what truly will be one of the most spectacular shows of the year.

This is a Midlands 103 co-production, with presentation of the awards by Joe Cooney of Midlands 103 and Eddie Rowley of the Sunday World.

Comperes for the night are RTE TV presenter Geri Maye and Farmers Journal journalist and broadcaster Michale Commins.

Tickets for the event are €25 and available from the hotel, Heartbeat City Tullamore, Music World Athlone, ticketmaster.ie, or at the door on the night. Doors open at 7.30pm, and the show starts at 8pm sharp.
