The official opening of Papa John’s Pizza and Quiznos, which took place last week in Spar Ardleigh, was a great success.
The new opening boosts the number of jobs created by Supermac’s, Papa John’s, Quiznos and Spar to 24 in the area. Officially opened by deputy mayor of Mullingar, Gerry Sheridan, the day put smiles on many young faces. Families enjoyed the entertainment provided on the day by famous characters and face painters while young fans had the opportunity to meet Westmeath senior footballer, Doran Harte and the Westmeath Rose, Teresa Donohoe.
The new opening gives fresh choices to the people of Mullingar with Supermac’s, Papa John’s, Quiznos, and Spar providing a range of cuisines from 7am to 11pm. Owner of the new Papa John’s and Quiznos, managing director of Supermac’s Pat McDonagh, says “I’d like to thank everyone who joined us to celebrate the official opening of Papa John’s Pizza and Quiznos in Ardleigh. We are extremely grateful to all of our customers for supporting the business over the last two and a half years. We’re delighted to be able to offer Ardleigh more food choices and believe that it’s important to have somewhere such as here where people can meet and get together for a chat.”
McDonagh continued, “We have received great support from our employees here in Ardleigh and from the local builders and tradesmen, the local service providers and suppliers who helped us fully develop the restaurant area.”
