A Mullingar company has been shortlisted for this year’s National Enterprise Awards.
Waste collection company Soltec Ireland Ltd, based in Mullingar, is one of eight small companies which have been nominated for the 15th annual National Enterprise Awards.
The Mullingar company is the only hazardous waste recycling company based in Ireland and was established by Michael Corcoran in 1994 to specialise in the recovery of waste solvent.
The other companies nominated for the award include Sendmode.com from Donegal; Glanmara Ltd, trading as Drombeg Premium Irish Spirit, from West Cork; Running Gear Ltd of Mayo, trading as Agrispread; FleetConnect from Fingal in Dublin; Action Point Innovation from Limerick; Aine’s Handmade Chocolates from Cavan; and Softouch Technologies Ltd, based in Wexford.
Organised by the 35 County and City Enterprise Boards, the awards ceremony for this year’s National Enterprise Awards takes place in Dublin Castle on Thursday November 24.
