Mullingar Park Hotel wins AA Business Hotel of the Year

The AA Business Hotel of the year for 2008 has been won by Mullingar Park Hotel. It was announced at a gala ceremony in the Guinness Gravity Bar in Dublin this week which was attended by leading figures in Irish tourism, including Minister Martin Cullen.

Introduced in 2006, the Business Hotel Award is granted in recognition of the range of facilities on offer for the corporate market and for the consistent delivery of service excellence.

Accepting the award, hotel proprietor Josephine Hughes said, “Achieving an AA award for our business centre is particularly welcome in the current climate, and recognises the investment we have made in our facilities as well as the professionalism of the Mullingar Park Hotel team.”

A recent addition, the business centre has been custom built and adapts easily to facilitate any size of event. The dedicated area is set slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel and the extensive conference centre provides state of the art amenities.

Delegates and business groups know the importance of networking at any conference or business meeting and the Mullingar Park Hotel, recognising this, provides spacious public areas, a well-equipped leisure centre and a range of dining options all under the one roof.

“Our inspectors have been extremely impressed with the professionalism and market awareness of the management and staff at Mullingar Park,” says AA Membership Director Dennis Fisk. “The business market can be very demanding to serve, but it’s a critical segment and very important to the Irish economy.”

Opened in September 2003, the AA four-star Mullingar Park Hotel boasts an excellent location in the Midlands, ideally located to gather custom from the four corners of the country.
