Coralstown/Kinnegad hoping to bounce back up to senior

The Westmeath intermediate championship final will see Castletown/Finea/Coole/Whitehall bid to upset the odds when they take to the field against hotly fancied Coralstown/Kinnegad in Cusack Park on Saturday at 4.45pm.

Kinnegad, who made the drop from senior a year ago have a favourite’s chance of collecting the title and more importantly returning to senior football in 2012. C/F/C/W are sure to ask questions off Jack Cooney’s men but his side look well equipped to answer anything the men from the north of the county can throw at them.

Meanwhile in the junior decider which also takes place in Cusack Park on Saturday Garrycastle, despite losing goalkeeper Stephen McGuire to the seniors last Sunday, should have enough firepower to see off the challenge of St Paul’s.
