Anam Cara Hair Studio has opened its doors to the people of Mullingar in Fairgreen. Proprietor Geraldine Daly, now living in Mullingar, is highly qualified having owned a salon in Dublin, and has years of teaching, competition work, and management experience under her belt.
The salon is state-of-the-art, offering complete customer care and attention. The stylists of Anam Cara are highly qualified. Sarah, Michelle, and Valerie are natives of Mullingar and Moate, and have worked in prestigious salons for many years before joining the team at Anam Cara. They specialise in all aspects of hairdressing including up-styling for weddings, etc. Hair colouring and cutting are high on the list at Anam Cara as the team are on trend with all the latest fashions and are kept updated with the best of training from the Wella Academy Dublin.
S/P and Sebastian hair care products are used in salon. Getting your hair shampooed is an experience with a complimentary massage and treatment. The junior team Ciara and Meg have just achieved their ITEC Level 2 diplomas with distinctions. Team co-ordinator Patricia Daly has worked in Dublin and England in the best of salons, bringing her experience of customer care and attention to the customers and team of Anam Cara.
The college, which is separate to the salon, opens in October, offering courses and workshops for everyone; these will include ITEC Level 2 diploma in hairdressing, blowdrying, cutting, upstyling, barbering and colouring. Meditation and relaxation workshops, life- coaching, personal development and confidence-building workshops are also planned.
