The Mullingart project draws to a close over the next week after a second successful year, with a full exhibition of all the submitted works in Danny Byrnes night club.
Curated by professional artist Corina Thornton, the exhibition will run from this Saturday August 20 to Thursday August 25 in the nightclub, upstairs from Danny Byrnes pub, during daytime opening hours, followed by a reception for the artists on the evening of the final day.
“We have nearly finished installing all of the pieces and I can’t stress enough how impressive it looks,” said Don Mortell, coordinator of the project.
“It’s a rare chance to see in one place the incredible amount of talent our town has to offer. I truly hope that as many people as possible visit the exhibition over the next few days and that they not only take pleasure from viewing the wonderful work displayed but perhaps even become inspired to create their own and submit it for next year’s project.”
