The Stables, Mullingar will officially launch under new management this weekned.
The leading music venue promises the best in live music with a strong focus on local bands.
New owner Declan Murray wants to put a new energy into the venue. “Over the coming months I intend to re-energise the venue with many of Ireland’s best up and coming bands along with popular established bands and musicians,” explains Declan.
“We will also be running production, performance, and promotion workshops for young acts to help them get their music across and up to the next level.”
To coincide with the relanuch of The Stables, Declan has booked some local bands, trad sessions, and popular groups.

Friday July 15 - Resurgence, a local metal night
Saturday July 16 - The Riptide Movement, support from Arrow in the Sky (local alternative/folk act ) and Pete Courtney. This a free gig.
Sunday July 17 - Trad session in the front bar from 7pm - 10pm
Saturday July 23 - Bipolar Empire, support from Ricotta
Saturday July 24 - Trad session in the front bar from 7pm - 10pm
