James and Audrey release new single today

James O’Connor with Audrey Trainor release their new high octane single ‘Mr Fake’ today, Friday May 27. Produced by Chris O’Brien and Graham Murphy from the Production Suite, James’ vocals, combined with Audrey’s orchestral violin manoeuvres blend the songs’ lyrics which question reality, conscience, and imitation together; resulting in an intense energetic, exciting contemporary Celtic pop song. James and Audrey will be performing at Music World, Athlone on Wednesday June 1 at 1pm.

Their new album From Now On is scheduled to be released in the autumn.

‘Mr Fake’ follows a great year for James and Audrey, who scored their first top 10 hit last year with ‘Falling Up’ reaching number nine and many festival appearances including Electric Picnic and Helium Festival.

James O’Connor, a 25-year-old musician from Laois, has been writing songs for the last number of years. In 2007 James first appeared in the Irish charts with his playlisted track ‘Mr Moon’.

After teaming up with Audrey Trainor, a classically trained violinist and music lecturer from County Louth, they have been performing all around Ireland, the UK, and the USA with headline shows and opening for many great artists.
