Nell Bryden

Based in New York, Nell Bryden is a formidable touring machine. She’s played opening slots with international acts like KT Tunstall and The Counting Crows, performed on the number one radio shows Pat Kenny on RTE radio and The Ian Dempsey breakfast show on Today FM.

You may know her as the artist who funded her music by selling a Milton Avery painting she found in her attic or simply as the girl Janice Long (BBC Radio 2 ) described as, ‘Having a voice to die for,’ but rising songstress Nell Bryden earned herself the title of ‘The American Forces Sweetheart’ this week (October 2008 ) as she announced her plans to visit the military base camps in Iraq and Kuwait to sing for the US troops.

Her latest album, Second Time Around, is currently getting radio play across the US and Canada on 84 stations including channels on XM Satellite radio.

Sounds impressive? Well you can catch Nell Bryden when she plays The Stables, Mullingar on November 1 after supporting Bell X1 earlier that night.
