Tuar Ard, Moate is showing an art exhibition by Dara Ennis from now until April 29. Dara’s work uses the figurative and landscapes to showcase her concepts. These concepts range from the need for tranquility to how our environment affects our mental and physical wellbeing.
Dara has had group and solo exhibitions in Athlone, Tralee, Galway, and Dun Laoghaire. She is a graduate of GMIT College of Art, Galway; IADT in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin; and Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork.
Dara gained a scholarship in 1999 from Paderborn University, Germany. Her work has been purchased by the National Council for Education Awards (NCEA ) and displayed in the Millennium Art Exhibition, Merion Square, Dublin.
