Westmeath County Library Service is pleased to announce a special talk in Mullingar Library by the renowned midland artist Kevin Flood.
Kevin Flood, who is widely known as an artist who enjoys working in oils, watercolour, and pastels, as well as being a teacher of art, will give an illustrated art appreciation talk in Mullingar Public Library on Tuesday March 8 at 7pm.
Kevin will discuss the work of local artists Mae Raleigh, Peter McCabe, and Lorcan Walsh, as well as national artists such as Diarmuid Larkin, Brigid Ganly, and others.
This talk, which is titled ‘Relax and Relate to Art’, is aimed at helping those who might find themselves overawed by art exhibitions to become more confident about talking about various pictures.
The talk is being organised by Westmeath County Library Service in conjunction with the Midland Arts Education Programme.
