LARCC Cancer Support Centre, Ballinalack is providing an eight-week bereavement support programme for bereaved people regardless of the nature of the bereavement.
If you or anybody you know has lost a loved one and would like support in your grieving process, you are invited to participate in the bereavement group.
The programme is designed to meet the needs of individuals while grieving the loss of a loved one. The group will provide an opportunity to share experiences and support each other in coming to terms with accepting the loss, processing the pain and grief, and adjusting to life without the deceased person.
The programme will run at LARCC Cancer Support centre for an eight-week period on Tuesday nights. An information meeting for those interested in the programme will be held on Tuesday February 22. The programme will then begin on March 1 at 7.30pm. There is no fee for this programme.
