The Snapper actress Tina Kellegher who is based in Mullingar is supporting a fund-raising concert in aid of Westmeath Homecare Hospice Foundation, which takes place in the Cathedral of Christ The King on Sunday October 26 at 7pm.
The concert features the cathedral choir performing a section of Vivaldi's Gloria, who will be accompanied by a local orchestra. Other participants include the choristers, the soloists, Heather Fogarty, Emmet Cahill, Maeve Corroon, Mark Irwin, Aoife Gavin, Katie McCarthy, and Jenny McNamee. Tickets are priced at €15 and are available from Foxes Fruit and Veg, Lynn Industrial Estate, and O'Brien's Pharmacy, Oliver Plunkett Street, or at the door on the night.
